Steuben’s Golden Birthday
For two decades, this Uptown eatery has been keeping Denver foodies full with split-top lobster rolls, Monte Cristos, fried chicken, and other decadent eats. On its 20th birthday, celebrate alongside staff, regulars, and community members with all-you-can-eat dishes (including fan favorites like potato latkes, deviled eggs, and butterscotch pudding), bottomless drinks, and live music. You can feel good about indulging, too, since Steuben’s will donate proceeds to Urban Peak, a local organization that supports youth experiencing homelessness. June 20; 4–8 p.m.; $50
1940s Summer Ball
Old souls who prefer swing dancing and big band music over EDM and moshing will dig this throwback gala at the Boulder Airport. Peep vintage cars and WWII-style planes, hear oldie tunes sung live, catch an iconic Bob Hope impersonator’s performance, and mingle with Lucille Ball, Edward R. Murrow, and Rita Hayworth look-alikes. June 20; 6:30 p.m.–midnight; starting at $99
Edgewater Music Festival
Sure, you can enjoy barbecue and live music year-round, but there’s something so right about pairing the two outside in the summer. This decades-old neighborhood festival includes acts such as blues and soul outfit the Duke Street Kings and Chicano funk group Los Mocochetes, plus mouthwatering eats from Polidori Sausage, Texas Roadhouse, and more. June 20; 2–10 p.m.; $13–$109
Juneteenth Music Festival
After the Juneteenth Parade—which dates back to the 1950s and will include Welton Street Cafe co-owner Fathima Dickerson as grand marshal—stick around for this high-energy music festival in Five Points. The performers include Grammy-nominated R&B artist SiR, DJ Kimani, and soul group Created Yesterday. June 20; parade starts at 11 a.m., festival starts at noon; free entry
Flatirons Sounds Music Festival
Procrastinators that haven’t set Father’s Day plans yet will be delighted to know that this music fest takes place on Sunday—and you don’t need to tell Dad that the tickets didn’t cost a thing. Music-loving patriarchs (and everyone else) will enjoy live performances from singer-songwriter Neal Francis, bluegrass-funk group Armchair Boogie, and indie-folk artist Lindsay Lou at Boulder’s scenic Chautauqua Park. June 21; 1–8 p.m.; free
Sols-Tiki: The Longest Day Pt. II
You’ll have a few extra hours of daylight to fill on the longest day of the year, so why not spend those idle hours at this island-inspired bash? On Sunday, RiNo’s Major Tom will transform from a Champagne bar into a Tiki hut for one day only to celebrate the summer solstice. Don a Hawaiian shirt and show up for themed drinks and bites; your ticket includes a welcome beverage and snack. June 21; time slots vary; $25 per person
